The Scientific Center – one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) – is organizing “Eco Talks 2026”, in collaboration with the Environment Public Authority (EPA) and with the participation of a number of government, academic and research institutions, as well as organizations concerned with environmental affairs. The event comes as part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness, reinforce the principles of sustainability, and preserve Kuwait’s natural resources and biodiversity.
“Eco Talks 2026” reflects The Scientific Center’s role in promoting scientific and environmental knowledge and providing a platform that brings together specialists, experts and relevant entities to exchange knowledge and expertise and discuss key environmental issues and challenges facing Kuwait. The event aims to strengthen cooperation and enhance public awareness of the importance of environmental conservation.
The event focuses on three main themes that reflect Kuwait’s natural environment: desert, coastal and marine environments. Discussions will address a range of topics, including climate change, conservation of natural habitats, biodiversity, pollution and sustainability, while also highlighting efforts and initiatives aimed at protecting natural resources and addressing environmental challenges.
The event also highlights the importance of integrating the roles of government, scientific, academic and research institutions, while strengthening partnerships that contribute to transforming scientific knowledge into practical initiatives and practices that support national environmental protection efforts.
On this occasion, Eng. Mosaed Al-Yaseen, General Manager of The Scientific Center, said:

Through Eco Talks, we aim to bring scientific knowledge closer to the community and create a platform for dialogue among experts, specialists and relevant entities, contributing to transforming environmental awareness into practices and initiatives with meaningful and sustainable impact.”
