This agreement reflects the commitment of both parties to developing young people, enhancing their capabilities, and expanding opportunities for collaboration in scientific and environmental awareness, as well as building the capacities of Kuwaiti youth.
The MoU seeks to establish a partnership that enables both sides to design and implement scientific, environmental, educational, and training programs and initiatives targeting young people. These efforts will help prepare and empower youth with the knowledge and skills needed for the future, while also raising their environmental and social awareness.
Mr. Musaed Abdulaziz Al-Yassin, General Manager of The Scientific Center, stated:
“At The Scientific Center, we believe that investing in youth is an investment in Kuwait’s future. Signing this memorandum with the Public Authority for Youth embodies our vision of making the Center a platform for interactive learning and educational experiences that strengthen scientific and environmental awareness among young people.”
The signing of this agreement comes as part of The Scientific Center’s approach to reinforcing partnerships with state institutions and collaborating with national entities to achieve community and environmental development goals through innovative initiatives, workshops, volunteering opportunities, and training programs that build young people’s skills and open future horizons.
For his part, Mr. Nasser Ahmed Al-Sheikh, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Youth, emphasized the importance of this partnership, saying:
“At the Public Authority for Youth, we are committed to building strategic relationships with leading national institutions, and The Scientific Center is among the most prominent entities playing an active role in spreading scientific culture and promoting environmental awareness. We believe this agreement will contribute to offering quality programs that meet the aspirations of Kuwaiti youth, enhance their scientific and intellectual capabilities, and align with their ambitions while serving the future of Kuwait.”
