This recognition comes as part of The Scientific Center’s commitment to supporting young national talents and highlighting their role in promoting scientific culture and reinforcing the values of giving and volunteerism within Kuwaiti society.
The program included training volunteers in communication skills with the public, engaging with children in the summer camp, serving visitors at the Center, and assisting in organizing educational programs for children. These experiences contributed to developing the volunteers’ skills while strengthening their sense of initiative and social responsibility.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Sanousi, Deputy General Manager for Visitor Experience, stated:
“We are proud of our young volunteers who have demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm through their participation in serving visitors and organizing educational programs. Their efforts reflect the awareness and responsibility of the new generation and reaffirm The Scientific Center’s role in empowering youth and enhancing their contributions to society.”
Volunteers were also given the opportunity to explore the scientific activities offered by the Education and Programs Department, in addition to collaborating with the Aquarium Department to learn about marine life and its natural habitats, as well as raising awareness of the importance of protecting wildlife and preserving ecosystems. These experiences enriched the volunteers’ skills, enhanced their environmental awareness, and nurtured their sense of responsibility toward both society and the environment.
