The Scientific Center – one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences – hosted the event “Sustainable Development Goals Through Art”, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in collaboration with Zee Art.

The event combined cultural and artistic dialogue through panel discussions and an art exhibition showcasing the creativity of a group of international and local artists. The featured works highlighted the role of art in raising awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encouraging community engagement in issues related to the environment and development.

Organizing this event reflects The Scientific Center’s commitment to supporting global initiatives that bring together culture, science, and the arts. It also underscores its role as a leading institution in spreading knowledge and promoting environmental and developmental awareness in Kuwait and the region. The event provided an opportunity to engage with artistic and human experiences that inspired the community toward a more sustainable future.

In this context, Ms. Sara Al-Yaqout, Director of Marketing and Communications, stated:
“By hosting this international event, The Scientific Center reaffirms its mission of integrating culture, science, and art in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that art is a powerful tool in building community awareness and reinforcing the values of sustainability, and we are pleased to serve as a platform to showcase these inspiring experiences to the public in Kuwait.”
