Today, The Scientific Center – one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences – hosted the DD Photographers Gathering in collaboration with Fashionet. The event will run from 18 to 20 January 2026, as part of the Center’s ongoing commitment to supporting creative talents and promoting creative industries in the State of Kuwait.
The event aims to provide an interactive platform that brings together professional and amateur photographers as well as content creators. It features a specialized exhibition showcasing the latest photography equipment and digital technologies, in addition to panel discussions and professional workshops delivered by leading experts in photography, visual production, and artificial intelligence.
The first day of the gathering, Sunday 18 January, includes a program hosted at The Scientific Center featuring specialized talks and panel discussions on topics such as content creation, cinematography, digital advertising, and the use of artificial intelligence in visual production.
On the second and third days, 19 and 20 January, a series of professional training workshops will be organized, focusing on product photography, reel creation, cinematic production, AI-powered Photoshop techniques, and generating images and videos using artificial intelligence technologies. These workshops aim to help participants develop practical skills within an advanced and hands-on training environment.
The accompanying exhibition includes the participation of several companies and brands specialized in photography and technical equipment, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the latest innovations and solutions in the world of photography and content creation.
On this occasion, Mohammed Al-Sanousi, Deputy Director General for Visitor Experience at The Scientific Center, stated:
