Life Lab is a drop-in program that gives Youth the chance to explore real-world life skills through a series of fun, hands-on activities.

Topics include practical life skills, such as cooking principles and basic Physical Education. All are designed to prepare participants for independent and sustainable living.

The Science of Eating Well

Explore the science behind healthy eating and discover how nutrients fuel the body and mind. Through hands-on activities, they learn how to prepare and select healthy food choices that support overall wellbeing.

NOTE: For nutrition-related activities, all ingredients will be shared in advance. It is the guardian’s responsibility to inform TSCK of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of registration.

Culinary Chemistry Lab

Step into the lab and uncover the science behind cooking as participants explore how ingredients react, transform, and create new flavours. Through hands-on experiments, they discover the chemistry behind everyday foods.

Terms and Conditions:
  1. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the service is provided and prior to the start of the registered session, during working hours (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM). Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after this deadline.
  2. TSCK will not be held responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.
  3. Unsafe, disruptive, or reckless behavior may result in immediate removal without a refund. For multi-day programs, unused days will be refunded on a prorated basis.
  4. Photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.
  5. Children under the age of 12 must be signed in by a parent or guardian.
  6. Guardians must pick up participants promptly at the program end time. A fee of 6 KD (equivalent to a TSCK ticket) will be charged if pickup is delayed by more than 30 minutes.
  7. Children enrolled in the program must be able to use washroom facilities independently.
  8. Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies or medical conditions during online registration to ensure the safety of all participants.
  9. Children should bring a water bottle and a light snack or lunch for scheduled breaks.
  10. By completing the registration, you confirm that the listed names are the legal guardians of the child(ren) and that all provided information is accurate.
